Rayuela:
Rayuela is another name for the famous game Hopscotch. It is very popular throughout all of South America, specifically in Chile and Brazil. It is perfect for children because its easy, cheap, and any number of people can play. Whether you’re alone or with ten friends, it’s very easy to play. All that is needed is chalk and sidewalk, and a safe place to be able to play that’s out of the way from dangers. You begin by drawing squares onto the pavement; either one-by-one or two-by-two, until you have a total of 8 squares; that two feet can fit into. The first player begins by jumping into the squares, with either one or both feet, depending on the number of squares. This game has been a favorite to our parents, and parents all over the world, and continues to serve as fun to children. Since it began, there have been so many recreations and additions to the game that each region around the world has a different game of hopscotch, but in the end everybody enjoys it.HOMEexternal image hopscotch_pattern.gifexternal image Hopscotch_to_oblivion.jpg
